Fall Classess are about to start!
Bring your questions, your problems, and your current project! We’ll have a great time learning some really fun secrets of the pros. All levels welcome!
Whether you’ve knit for years and just want to step it up a bit or if you’ve never knit a stitch, we’ll start at the ground level and go from there. Materials: bring (or buy) a size 7 or 8 circular needle and one skein of white wool.
Hats are so fun and so necessary! We’ll be making a basic hat with lots and lots of ways to make it your very own – watch caps, tooks, stocking caps…. They all use curricular and double pointed needles. No matter what your knitting level you will learn something new! Materials: Patterns are included but you will need yarn and an appropriate sized 16” circular needle & dpns. (Get a jump on the class by getting your supplies early and swatching before the first class)
This class will cover all sorts of aspects of short row shaping while making a matching jibber & scarf. Make a great Christmas gift while learning tons about custom shaping. Materials: Patterns are included but you will need yarn and an appropriate sized 16” circular needle.
Socks are the greatest knitted object ever. Learn to make your first pair or come and push your skills. We’ll spend three weeks working on the basic top-down socks on dpns. Already love to knit socks? Come and try lace socks, or cabled, or maybe try two socks at one time! Materials: The basic pattern is included but you will need a skein of sock yarn and a set of appropriately sized double pointed needles. (Get a jump on the class by getting your supplies early and swatching before the first class)
